Ottawa fan, but trying to be unbiased... It's unfair to compare him to guys that have proven their worth over long careers, but having watched him, a ton, he's worth it. Hockey has become less about what you can do at the trade deadline and more about if you can strike gold in the draft. In that regard, it's nice to lock down a guy who shows all the potential to be a superstar. Still, these long contracts always scare the crap out of me.
