A place to discuss and support all Steam Hardware, including Steam Deck, Steam Machine, Steam Frame, and SteamOS in general.
As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:

If your post is only relevant to one hardware device (Deck/Machine/Frame/etc) please specify which one as part of the title or by using a device flair.
These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.
Rules:
- Follow the rules of Sopuli
- Posts must be related to Steam Hardware or Steam OS in an obvious way.
- No piracy, there are other communities for that.
- Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
- This is a place of civil discussion, no trolling.
- Have fun.
My fav #emuation method. I hated how EmuDeck takes anywhere from 25-35gb's of SSD, and in so many different places if you uninstall.
Recently uninstalled EmuDeck to go back to #RetroDECK. Wondering why it took me so long! All-in-one is a win in my eyes. And even more glad that Ryujinx has been half solved. Looking forward to getting back to my Switch games.

We will release 0.8.4b
As 0.8.3b did not fix the issue for all users we will do a minor patch of 0.8.4b that should move the folders correctly to retrodeck/ES-DE/ and force set the correct path in ES_Config.
The 0.8.0b branch is still on the old manifest and it is a bit unwieldy to debug and we are making changes to our testing routines and the tester user program.
In some more positive news for @everyone. As soon as we got this fixed we will post our blogpost for August detailing some of the work we have done during the summertime (the new manifest).
