Really wondering when we’re gonna stop fucking around and actually aggressively shoot down their missiles and drones and stuff that fly over NATO airspace.

I'm pretty sure all incursions by missiles and drones have been brief, because that's exactly what would happen. Like, we did the Chinese balloon in, and we actually fear China as a near-equal. Human-piloted aircraft are another matter, though, because killing somebody is way more risk than anyone wants to take to put down an airborn tantrum.

Wow, I either missed that or forgot about it. Nevermind.

Yeah, and its very dangerous to escalate. The Cuban missile crisis nearly annilated the planet, no world wars are necessary, just an escalation of tensions to cold war levels like we are starting to see now.

Escalations are extremely dangerous if not just as dangerous as an all out declared war.

As always, nothing will happen

I recall something similar happening a little while back, but maybe I’m misremembering

It just hit a field that time, though.

I don't expect MAD to happen over this, but I do expect a lot of extra fun stuff to get authorised by NATO. If I'm wrong it was nice posting.
