It's easy to recover... if you're on site.
It depends on how many machines and how many sites. Companies like Walmart and Home Depot could be in trouble. I don't actually know if they use Crowdstrike
Or if you have ipmi/bmc/lom. 🤷♀️
If only half the machines went down today, it'd be a 50% improvement.

They updated a cloud security service and managed to break a huge part of the Internet by making software inoperable.
Not just inoperable as they made the machines unusable and unfixable (at least remotely)
