I thought I'd refresh my memory of DOS2 by watching a playthrough on Youtube and noticed some very suspicious references to Project Gustav and mind flayers. After some digging I found out Tarquin's plan worked out, apparently he's wreaking havoc casting Source magic in Baldur's Gate.
