While I work from home during the week, I have frozen burritos almost every day. They're super cheap and not bad.
To elevate mine to the next level, I first microwave them in a ceramic baking dish (little single serving size that you might have baked pasta in) until they're a little less than done. Then top them with some cheese and green (or red) chili and pop that in the toaster oven for like 5-7 min. If available, throw some sour cream, guac, and lettuce on after taking them out of the toaster and viola! 🧑🍳
The concept is unanchored and untrue to its origins. In a world of mediocrity we all aspire to innovate, but not all succeed. This twist on a classic falls short, ultimately failing to capture and expose the natural flavor of despair.
This frozen delight deserved a kraft single and ketchup, not this heresy.
4/10, a high score considering the level of cultural disrespect.
I would give them an extra point for the use of dried cilantro. It's the only herb with an infinite shelf life, it never goes bad, and since it is flavorless to begin with it will taste just as bad in twenty years as it does today.

I'm into the specialty sauce for the frozen burritos. Generally, it's a ketchup base but then you can really bring out a rainbow of flavors... Mustard, hot sauces, lemon juice, capers.... Who knows? I'm the Guy Fieri of the frozen food helper sauces!
