Skyrim Dragon age origins Zelda breath of the wild
For me it's probably "Golden Sun" from GBA (and "Golden Sun 2"). I played them at the time on the original GBA at least 3 times each, and on emulators in phones & tablets a few more. I liked the story, the graphics, the combat system, the endless possibilities you could do, the discoverability, hidden corners, the different regions, the global map... If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it, it's full of nice things.
Metroid Prime trilogy
Skyrim
Ocarina of Time
For me it’s San Andreas and Final Fantasy X
San Andreas was so ahead of it's time. I think it's one of the few open world games that managed to do it right
It’s so annoying how open world has become pretty much the default for so many games now. Especially now that games take so much time and money to develop, I can’t only think of a handful of open world games from the last 10 years that were deeper than a puddle
Into The Breaxh, Sekiro, Psychonaut 1&2.
They are so satisfying and not too long. Factorio is a bit too demanding.

Metal Gear Solid 3.
So hype for the rerelease and the remake
Virginia and What Remains of Edith Finch are two of my favourite narrative experiences. I've played through both of them a few times and I'm always eager to go back.
Minecraft (modded and unmodded)
Creeper world games
Mindustry
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
KSP, Skyrim, and Witcher 3. Sometimes when I particularly hate myself I'll play Dark Souls
Patient Gamers
A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.
