It's always fun when my character has a better diet and sleep pattern than I do.
If a character in a post nuclear apocalypse has a better diet than you, you should reevaluate your life choices. Although I agree that irradiated water is probably not worse than the 2000+ kcal Oreo milkshake I've seen
I'm sorry but I'm not some pleb scavenging for irradiated junk. We're dining good with fresh steaks, clean water and fresh made coffee.
It may be a post nuclear apocalypse, but they can also just take whatever they want at the point of a gun, don't feel pain, and are effectively immortal.
Also they don't have rent to pay.
