You could always dual boot, see how that works for you.
@Emperor I have done that with Ubuntu in the past. I acutally got a Intel NUC and put Pop OS on it but it really seemed to get bogged down on that machine. Windows ran fine on it so I was a bit surprised that Pop (and Ubuntu as I tried that next to see if it improved the speed) was so slow. I tried an old laptop I had but maybe it was too old as it too just slowed way down and was frustrating to use. My current laptop does not have much of a HDD so I've been hesitant to dualboot.
