I'm going to take a leap of faith here and assume the "need" is for mental health problems and not physical traumas.
When you start seeing unlawful violence as a solution, you have become part of the problem. :/
Violence against people that what to exterminate me is self defence. Opposing that is literally just "I don't think people should defend themselves against nazis that want to exterminate them."
Yes, that's why there's the qualifier unlawful before violence - usually self-defence is lawful, assuming you are not repurposing the term to suit your agenda.
Fuck the law. When the law conflicts with values it is a moral duty to break it.
