Very lovely visual representation made there.

However none of that helps when you get hit by three red shells, lightning and a Spiny shell on the last lap to go from 1st to 6th lol

In the situation you are describing you’ll want to prioritize acceleration over top speed.

argh I hate when you get multi-attacked like that. Specially when you are doing a perfect run, and it's last lap of the last race!

You can minimize this by having a higher invincibility stat (another hidden stat that influences how many I-frames you get after spinning out).
