Brave is also a browser... And it works in it.
No worries... My point though was that maybe you could try a different browser because, as evidenced by my screenshot and anecdotal experience, it works in at least one of them.
That's crazy.
I don't know what else to suggest really.

Are you asking why unclicked links don't change colors, or am I misunderstanding something?
The link you see is to the threads, if you haven't visited the page then it won't show as a visited link afaik
They're saying that the links don't turn purple (for them) after visiting except when they click into the thread.
Yep.
Just tested it again in Brave specifically with clicking the images in the inline content viewer without clicking the title or comments button on old.lemmy.world
Works as expected for me there.
