@damtux Ciao!
Happy to see us mentioned, but Paheko cannot be translated right now, as nothing is ready yet for internationalisation.
I recommend you look at @galette which is also free software, and offers multiple languages :)
@damtux @galette Their website is here: https://galette.eu/site/
They already have some italian translations (27% translated).
Thank you very much for the reply! In general do you have plans on internationalization? (e.g. in months or years) I didn't know about Galette honestly (thank you for the suggestion)....but I think that Paheko would be a real game changer for a lot of small europeans associations, if translated and localized (e.g. for accounting). It has a lot of integrated features (I think CiviCRM is not feature complete to be used as a single software) and I'm happy to see development to integrate it with Nextcloud.
@damtux Yes it's in the roadmap to be able to translate it, in a couple of years maybe :)
It would be a huge work, and we have many things to do before :)
Also I don't know anything on how accounting works in other countries, so not sure if the accounting part of Paheko (which is designed to follow the French way of doing things) would work very well for other countries, so I would need to research that in the first place :)
That's great! I think that internationalization could also bring more resources to sustain the development.
I understand it will require a lot of effort, but the community could help (hopefully)!
For the accounting part, that's the reason I think it would be good to create national communities around the software, to help adapt it to local laws (e.g. as it's already happening with other open source ERP software like Odoo, Dolibarr, etc....)
@damtux I think it should be designed for local stuff beforehand, if you try to fit this later on it doesn't always end in a good result. We are aiming for high quality in Paheko, that's why we are taking our time, and rely a lot on user feedback. The design and development is user-centric, and we are all using Paheko in our non-profits on a daily basis :)
I'm glad to hear that! :) Mine are ideas and suggestions, it's not my intention to pressure about features ... but I think e.g. in Italy there's the need for a software like Paheko, as a lot of small associations buy licenses for closed source software that distract funds from the core activities.
