The power of FOSS.

too bad many people won't know it immediately and they'll start getting ads. I remember when Quik Pic was a good app, now it's ad infested.

On the bright side, if they installed using F-Droid they probably won't because I would expect F-Droid to refuse to deploy the new compromised version.

It's the people who got it on the play store who will suffer

I wish F-Droid was well-known enough that I could say it's people's own fault if they used the Play Store instead, but sadly, it isn't.
