I recall at a place I used to work. There was an older guy who drove a similar monstrosity to work, GMC 6500... maybe. Im 6'3" and could easily walk under the mirrors.
I noticed after about a week that it hadn't moved. Finally, I got curious after 3 weeks of seemingly no movement from it and asked around.
Apparently, the guy that owned it, was climbing in to leave and fell backward out of it. Spent 2-3 months in the hospital recovering. No one needs one of these things
A lot of cherry picker trucks are 6500s, that's definitely a commercial truck.
I would dispute the assertions that no one needs those things, but I would agree that no one outside of a commercial setting is really going to need that much truck.
Damnit, another mark against me on judgment day for laughing at this.
