Even Medium has a mastodon instance and account! @medium@me.md.

It's a pity that lemmy still can't communicate with mastodon.

It’s a pity that lemmy still can’t communicate with mastodon.

It can, what do you mean? I've seen people commenting on communities from Mastodon for months

Yes, but only if the Mastodon post you want to comment on tags a Lemmy community. Lemmy doesn't have a concept of a post without a community.

I imagine mastodon has a lot more developers so they added compatibility first

[-] Blaze@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 11 months ago

We constantly do. If you have a mastodon.social account and open this link, you would see all the posts of the community: https://mastodon.social/@technology@lemmy.world

How can I tag @medium@me.md ?

[-] Asudox@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

me.md isn't even a used domain You probably meant me.dm

@medium@me.dm

[-] onlinepersona@programming.dev 1 points 11 months ago

Indeed. Tagging doesn't work, regardless.

[-] Blaze@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 11 months ago

It kind of does. If you have a Mastodon.social account, this link would open all the posts in this community in Mastodon: https://mastodon.social/@technology@lemmy.world

From Mastodon, you would need to indeed tag it so that it would appear here.
