Hello, I successfully rooted my Pixel 8 Pro but I am stuck at "Phone is starting" after enabling Zygisk and rebooting. It does boot fine into safe mode tho. What can cause this issue and how can I fix it? Thx a lot!

Look at the build I linked in my issue there. You will see an artifacts page where you can download a working build as a zip. You need to be logged in to GitHub to see the download link.

But like I said, Zygisk is still pretty broken even with that build. You'll get "further," but I wouldn't recommend running it as a daily driver.

No one has any clue when 27 is coming. I just know 26.4 was the last 26.x build.

Hey! It has been 2 months and magisk v27.0 is out. Do you think that is solves the zygisk issue?

Given the heated responses from the maintainers here and how quickly this PR was shot down, I very much doubt it

Welp, are you still on gOS and looking to root it?

Check out this post on XDA forum, looks like someone fixed thr no status bar/pil/gestures problem and zygisk works but LSPosed doesn't because of some gOS security enhancements...

I've already rooted it with Magisk, I just don't really need Zygisk so I haven't really bothered working around it. The only app I would have needed Zygisk DenyList with was PayPal, and I just use the website in a browser now.

Thanks though!

Nice to know, does your bank work without DenyList or you use it in a browser?

My banking app whines at me that "your phone is rooted, use at your own risk," but otherwise it works fine. Every bank is different though.
