A place to ask Canadians questions and get answers. The most obvious questions would be about Canada, but you can ask about pretty much anything; news, current events, society, etc
I don't intend this as an AMA format, but can entertain some. Rules:

My friend spent a weekend in Churchill, Manitoba. Your chances of seeing Aurora Borealis are pretty high there. They have a nice tourism town around it, so you're not off in the woods alone. She really enjoyed her stay.

There used to be a hostel there within the last 10 years when I last looked into a trip like this. It appears to have shut down now. Couldn't remember the name of the town so I'm glad you mentioned it right away.
Not an easy place to get to but if I can make it work, I may go there.
A bit crazy to see it's either a 20 hour flight or a four day train ride though. It's a good thing I enjoy an adventure.
I just did a quick check last night but thought those hours were pretty humorous.
Distance is also a factor I'd like to consider. As convenient as flying is, for personal reasons I'd prefer less flying in my life.
Can I ask how you got to Churchill? It's a trip I've always wanted to do but I'm not sure of the best way to get there.
I believe the only way tot get there is to fly. There was a rail track but I'm not sure what shape it's in.
I'm sorry, but it was a friend who took the trip. I'm not sure what her exact travel plans were.
