All-in-ones are for people who value aesthetics over all else.

Apples are the worst since they are so clearly planned e-waste. No video-in is pathetic. They setup their ecosystem just to make this display unique and seem valuable.

you hit the nail on the head. But even so, these days 24" is laughably small compared to what actual monitors are out there. Of course Apple is more interested in making "retina" displays than ones that are good to use for work.
