On october 20th, i received an email announcing new features of proton pass 1.8.1. However, I cannot update the firefox extension, I am lock on 1.8.0. Is it normal ? Where is 1.8.1 ?

I just looked into this yesterday and found a reddit thread saying that Proton submitted the change a while ago and is waiting for Mozilla to approve. Let me see if I can find it again.
