These games look awful. Who is giving out the LOTR licenses to these clowns 🤡🤡
If they don't want to go with AAA studios, they shouldn't aim for making AAA games. I would actually love a LOTR rpg in the style of an SNES game
Honestly looks terrible, just speaking about the art style. If you want to go cartoon-y, it looks better if you lean into that style, like Borderlands or Deep Rock Galactic.
This kinda reminds me of Torchlight. Which came out in 2009.
Triple A would fuck it just as much, would be poorly optimised trash riddled with MTX and/or DLC. No good studios want to take it on because it's a beloved world and they dont want to risk it, but these random studios youve never heard of will for that quick buck from the name.
