Imagine if, by some freak statistical accident (like a 1 in ⁶6⁶ chance), the first AGI's neurons just happen to be set up in such a way that this specific image tickles it in just the right way and gives it unimaginable bliss. So, it decides the contents of this image must be its destiny.
So basically..Skynet but the terminators are obsessed with eggs instead of John Conner/Killing Humanity.
