I'd never heard of this instance, but the name kind of gives away that it's no big loss.
I can tolerate communists, but lemygrad is mostly just tankies
They're not communists anymore than North Korea is a democracy...
Anyone that tries to claim the USSR or China are/were communist regimes aren't worth listening to. They're either lying or don't know what they're talking about
Or they've convinced themselves into a massive state of cognitive dissonance.
Even worse, they revere current Russia and China as if they're communist, which makes absolutely no sense.
They're communism as practiced, not as theorized. There is a bit of difference.

What, no. They follow the plans laid out by Marx. There just isn't a mechanism to go from tyranny of the proles to true communism, so the get stuck.

Even Mao was born to a wealthy peasant and already in politics 3/4 years after his graduation. I don’t know what was Marx’s exact definition for “proletariat”, but I personally wouldn’t include him either.

I admit its been a decade since I read the manifesto, but there isn't exactly a revised version out there. Communism is achieved by going through various stages. The second to last is tyranny of the proles, and the last is true communism. There is no mechnaism to move from tyranny of proles to true communism.
Beyond everything else, you can't achieve communism in the way Marx laid out.
Some people will take any disagreement as a personal attack.
Everyone can read the Manifesto of the Communist Party at marxists.org if they would like and see for themselves how it lays out the move toward communism.

It's like efficiency of machinery and rotating equipment. It can never reach 100%, but you can try to get close to it. 100% efficiency and communism are both unattainable ideals.
