So she was raped and she's suing. Fair. More than fair. The other side has lawyers. Are they just supposed to agree with everything her side says? Every side deserves a defense, and unfortunately, when you take up the Plaintiff side in a case, people will refute your claims. The lawyers are just representing their client. They, in fact, don't even say anything, or what they say carries no weight legally. What they'll do is present the evidence, and evidence regarding her PTSD is presumably via testimony of some doctor who's saying no, she does not meet the criteria to be classified as whatever. And she'll have a doctor or two who say the opposite.

If it's worth being pissed at anyone, be pissed at the medical association who has set standards regarding severity of PTSD and criteria for meeting them. But that's dumb. Maybe let courts and juries come to decisions and not invest yourself in it.

I'm from the US; Jersey, in fact (New variety). Lots of suing around here. So much so you'll see articles, just like this one, that were clearly written by the Plaintiff's attorney, detailing facts and how their client deserves compensation! I am shocked how any of it is legal, I don't understand the purpose (beyond involving the public in a private matter). But I see it a lot.
