Right-wingers, fash, nazis, nazbols etc. are not welcome! Right wing talking points (such as anti-woke, anti-queer, speaking favorably of far right figures, being anti-antifa etc.) will get you banned pretty quickly.
Please respect people's pronouns. Deliberately misgendering people repeatedly is going to lead you to have issues with the mods. Defending misgendering will get you banned.

On near-east topics: Nakba is an established fact. The (ongoing) Palestinian genocide is a fact. Israel commits crimes against Palestinians. No anti-Arab (such as Palestinians and Druze) sentiments allowed (it falls under racism anyways). In regards to Israel, do not dehumanize civilians. Saying shit like "there are no civilians in Israel/Palestine" will get you permabanned.
Be kind to one another. Try to deescalate any fights.

Waybackmachine says they only added BraininaBox to their mod team this year and moderation has escalated since BraininaBox has been added.
Literally last time I saw Brain was ages back when he was deliberately following a user around to harass them. Wild he’s been made a mod of anywhere given his pattern of behaviour.
He still follows people around. I think one of the feddit.org admins gave him a temp ban for it.
Edit: Ban is permanent and it was for fighting and abusing reports. Also Brain seems to also be banned from lemmy.ca

I’ve posted both during the most recent presidential and this election, as I always post voter encouragement for US elections, and the banning and conflict this time around has been quite bedazzling.
We are not all that far away from one of the users becoming radicalised, doing something stupid with a gun or other weapon, and getting an intire instance criminally investigated.
And since most instances store IP addresses…
