My brother got me into it because his boss just made $500 on one card. So, now I am in the business of collecting--not for money; for the artwork.
I collected them as a child in the 90s and very early 2000s, then they sat in my closet, then I sold a Charizard for $1000 and everyone wanted to ask me questions about my collecting and I had to be like "I don't" and see the devastation wash over them. My favorite remains Farfetch'd but I have about a 50 way tie for second place. 🤣
