I think that’s yellow reflective tape already, though a tasteful border wouldn’t go amiss.

I see the edges now with that hexagonal pattern, thought it was just fluo tape, but you're right (I just shill for that stuff cause it saved my bacon riding a bike back before every driver became a hazard)
