Einstein was racist towards Chinese. He is not a angel that can't have terrible beliefs anyway
it seems that everyone is flawed in some way and it'll probably do us well to keep that in mind when we confront people who we don't agree with.
It's also the common phenomenon of "person who dedicated his entire life to X knows nothing about people and politics besides what's popular". Very "where is Ja Rule?!" of us, lol.
It's also weird to take a speech fron 1955 without context and frame it in todays world.
There's no valid "context" that would place blame on the locals for the "tensions" instead of the Western colonizer project of Israel. But, like I said, ignorance (including propagandised views) is enough of an explanation, I'm not saying he was evil or anything (idk Mr. Einstein enough to make any claims about his morality).
Well that just depends on whether you believe in the holocaust or not. If you do then in 1955 you might have believed that the Jewish people deserved a home of their own. In this day and age it's getting harder to argue for it.
Actually quite the opposite, if you think about it. Jewswere just the victims of ethnic cleansing.
It's kind of weird to then be completely impervious of doing the exact same thing to another people.
