I think that the lowest hanging fruit for new science and technology right now is in psychology. Once mainstream academia realises that belief is an independent variable that can be manipulated, we're gonna see some awesome mental technologies. This is what chaos magicians already do. But chaotes are an underground culture with few resources. I want to see what psy-tech (magic) can do when it's mainstreamed.
