Pointing out, debunking, and spreading awareness about state- and company-sponsored astroturfing on Lemmy and elsewhere. This includes social media manipulation, propaganda, and disinformation campaigns, among others.
Propaganda and disinformation are a big problem on the internet, and the Fediverse is no exception.
What's the difference between misinformation and disinformation? The inadvertent spread of false information is misinformation. Disinformation is the intentional spread of falsehoods.
By equipping yourself with knowledge of current disinformation campaigns by state actors, corporations and their cheerleaders, you will be better able to identify, report and (hopefully) remove content matching known disinformation campaigns.

Imagine, thinking everyone who disagrees with you is "right wing". Does it hurt your feeling when people tell you the truth? Do you typically lash out as you have here or do you hug your teddy and cry under the covers? Bit of both?
Truth is truth wee one. Facts are facts. Implying people are stupid when they toss actual verifiable facts your way sounds an awful lot like what Trump does to his critics, along with every other fascist. YOU are the one acting like the right-wing person in this conversation, and I think a quite typical one, where every accusation is a confession. I'm quite confident that if I tried to engage you in an actual fact-based conversation, you would bring nothing but whataboutisms and the twisted realities you have let yourself brood in.
