Not sure what to think of this.
On one hand I hate that Gero, Mallozzi and the old gang got done dirty when they were literally weeks away from beginning production... Without them, I have serious doubts about anything new preserving the legacy, the spirit of the franchise we love.
On the other hand, Jac Schaeffer has proven to be a solid choice for delivering good shows. Both WandaVision and Agatha All Along were well executed, respectful of the origin material, and brought solid characters, character growth.
I guess it just feels like your favourite restaurant shutting down, then someone buying the place and reopening with a new crew. No matter how good a kitchen crew the new place has... it will never be the same. I think the same of Stargate without Martin and Joe.
I finally watched the movie, I fucking loved it
No need for a reboot, it needs to just be re-aired
The show is quite different from the movie (for the better, actually).
