From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

What happened or what information was the issue in that said video? I stopped watching Chris Titus for a long time (when he ditched Linux and went back to Windows, its years ago now).

Oh, he just made a point, that for him, it is worth to take some of its ideas and implement them into his own config. And I kinda feel the same about my sway setup.

Basically, it has cool stuff and you can read the configs and take what you like.

omarchy really doesn't make any sense as a distro. If someone really wants an agent, Why have all that slop prepackaged when you can just generate it yourself and have swim in your own slop.

Are they really pegging their success on attracting people who can't even copy paste a basic Hermes agent install script?

Yeah these people don't stay with Linux and they're attracting short lived attention and that's it.

I kind of enjoy seeing these corporations donators burn their money and also their reputation.
