A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

But they could still explain those "norms". A lot of people identify systemic issues as personal inadequacies because there's been a deliberate effort to make people internalize the shortcomings of the system. I imagine it would be a sort of a cathartic release to know there's nothing wrong with you and it's the systemic pressures that make you feel that way.
Now that's just the crazy talking, here have some more meds and oh by the way have you tried CBT? Let's reframe those thoughts...
Like I can't tell you how many times I've described this as gaslighting and people tell me that's not true because medical gaslighting doesn't exist. Oh please...
Are there any scientific studies on this? Learning about these problems does unusually not improve your situation in any meaningful way on its own, but might also lessen your willingness to deal with that system.
