My prediction keeps getting closer to reality with each day.

That Trump will fight to steal all of these oil sources, amass a bunch of oil reserves for the US, but no one will want to buy them because they've all moved on to electicification and renewables.

I watched a Rory Sutherland video the other day and he mentioned a very clever ad for electric cars: a person starts their petrol-powered toothbrush and starts choking on the exhaust fumes, then they turn on their petrol-powered razor and are deafened... the ad points out that most machines in your life are already electric, your car was only ever a matter of time.

Ironic isn’t it?

What is also Ironic to me is that Israel’s goal was to diminish Iran’s nuclear capabilities, but that due to the war more countries are now looking to accelerate towards electrification and renewables leave gaps in the system (dunkelflaute) which can cause blackouts, more countries are looking to nuclear energy for grid stability.
