Dull Men's Club
An unofficial chapter of the popular Dull Men's Club.
1. Relevant commentary on your own dull life. Posts should be about your own dull, lived experience. This is our most important rule. Direct questions, random thoughts, comment baiting, advice seeking, many uses of "discuss" rarely comply with this rule.
2. Original, Fresh, Meaningful Content.
3. Avoid repetitive topics.
4. This is not a search engine
Use a search engine, a tradesperson, Reddit, friends, a specialist Facebook group, apps, Wikipedia, an AI chat, a reverse image search etc. to answer simple questions or identify objects. Also see rule 1, “comment baiting”.
There are a number of content specific communities with subject matter experts who can help you.
Some other communities to consider before posting:
5. Keep it dull. If it puts us to sleep, it’s on the right track. Examples of likely not dull: jokes, gross stuff (including toes), politics, religion, royalty, illness or injury, killing things for fun, or promotional content. Feel free to post these elsewhere.
6. No hate speech, sexism, or bullying No sexism, hate speech, degrading or excessively foul language, or other harmful language. No othering or dehumanizing of anyone or negativity towards any gender identity.
7. Proofread before posting. Use good grammar and punctuation. Avoid useless phrases. Some examples: - starting a post with "So" - starting a post with pointless phrases, like "I hope this is allowed" or “this is my first post” Only share good quality, cropped images. Do not share screenshots of images; share the original image.

A woman is dead, and 36 families ended up homeless. I slept in my car for a week and then my sister's garage for 2 months due to this. I lost most of the things I own but I'm still happy because I have a new home after all of the struggle, and I get to solder things.
"Good joke, man"
I grant you good, i wish for you furniture, and i hold in my heart a better place for everyone involved.
Good on you for enjoying getting shit done however you can!
Thanks for the confidence boost!
Life has been a complete piece of shit to me for the last 4 years, and in fact, my car just got totaled 2 days ago and I got badly injured. A 90-year-old man who should not have been driving fell asleep at the wheel and totaled 4 vehicles.
That's after it died on the very FINAL trip of my desperation move 5 weeks ago which happened on my birthday, which I also had to do completely by myself. After not eating for 40 straight hours. Then have it towed five blocks away to the tune of $165, and undertake the cost of replacing the alternator! In a car that is now completely destroyed. Weee!
But I don't focus on the challenges, I always try to stay positive and live true and be happy and do the things I like 🙂
Someone said that to you? How heartless.
I'm glad to hear you at least have somewhere to live again...
Oh, I see, I think people interpreted my comment as if I was making light of the situation. That's not how I meant it.
Yes, clearly. Well, I meant well 🤷
All the best to you.
Not one person thinks that and neither do you. Quit trying to explain away your own obnoxious behavior so that you feel comfort inside yourself.
