I don’t think there’s a distro for running Linux on any recent iPhone, which is what this chip is for.
Asahi Linux is the leading distribution for Macs, but it’s a few generations behind with hardware support. M3 support is in the works but still experimental and not fully featured yet.

Yeah, but not fully featured (yet). No sleep support is a big one, no 3D acceleration, no HDMI, no Mac Studio support.
I’m sure they’ll get there soon enough, but it’s not done yet.
I'm also waiting to see how Linux support for the A-series chips develops, now that the MacBook Neo has A18 Pros running MacOS. There are people working on tools to allow Asahi's m1n1 bootloader to work on the Neos. Unclear how much of that effort will ultimately be upstreamed to Asahi itself, but I'm hopeful.
