Almost 20 years ago, the US military developed a powered-suit that allows a soldier to lift weights that normally require two people, and allow one soldier to move tons of sandbags without in many hours without tiring, so what happened to the powered-suit, and if such powered-suit can be used on a construction site for carrying supplies.

they don't build things to help people, they build things to kill. efficiency matters and they, while novel, were never the best bang for buck vs remote drone tech or straight robotics.

they probably do have them deployed here and there but you're right - they haven't been making headlines if they are being used.

16 years ago, they state that the power-suit needs a power cord, so can remain only at set locations, and they were trying to develop a portable battery for it, then the development news went silent.
