I prefer laptops cuz I like things that can move with me and I can put wherever, not be chained to a desk etc. its basically never unplugged but I dont care, i need to be able to move and also wired printing

Ironically, im most productive on my phone but i like to have a bunch of shit running in the background like torrents/soulseek/multiple audio output apps so i need a laptop to handle alm the non serious stuff

I have both. The last time I turned the laptop on was probably a year or more ago. I just don't use it. I have a phone for portable computing and the desktop is a decently powerful gaming PC so it takes care of my Big Computer tasks with aplomb. And it plays video games. The wonders of modern Linux.
