don't be afraid to savescum! but also, don't be afraid to lose checks! .....that's counterintuitive, but the game's so good you'll probably be replaying it anyways, so dont be afraid to play wildly different paths.

, i try to keep most of my skills on 3 or 5 if i feel its super-important but you'll usually be using clothes n tools to up your stats anyways.
