These people are so utterly divorced from reality. Literal normal libs in the real world in any country that isn't America dislike the US military, the last few years have pushed the envelope of what it's appropriate to feel and express about it within the Overton Window so far that i have liberal 60-something coworkers who vote labour and libdem saying they 'don't believe anything Trump says, don't trust his army, and hope the Iranians are able to defend themselves from it' over tea breaks
