Poor Irish folk. I love the Irish. And while I've plenty of opportunity to watch blazing saddles it just doesn't appeal to me. Is it wrong of me to defend the Irish in light of my ignorance of this humorous show?

It'll just be the intra-European racism that already exists, which doesn't particularly follow skin color.

Historically, no. In Germanic regions it's first Jews, then Slavs, then Celts, then Mediterraneans. Mediterraneans get credit for the Reniassance, Greco-Roman civilization and Christianity.
Mediterranean is too broad. Northern Italian and Greek were ok for Nazis.

Nah, as such a pasty motherfucker, other white people expect you to tan. I grew up being teased for my paleness and my neighbor offered to let me use her tanning bed. (I declined because I burn but don't tan).
My public school system was 100% white until my senior year of high school when a black family sent their kids to kindergarten.
