mediterreans would be darker skin, so they are the first targets. then it goes to anti-semitism in the end.

Historically, no. In Germanic regions it's first Jews, then Slavs, then Celts, then Mediterraneans. Mediterraneans get credit for the Reniassance, Greco-Roman civilization and Christianity.

Mediterranean is too broad. Northern Italian and Greek were ok for Nazis.

Certainly not Libyans, Egyptians, Palestinians etc.
