I really liked their content until i stumbled across a older video called "Ukraine: The Avoidable War" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LL4eNy4FCs8

This video is full of shit from a perspective of reality. It ignores russian imperialism, calls it proxy war between US and Russia (except it is democracy defending itself first from russian proxies then from russia itself), and somehow makes NATO the cause, except before 2014 it was as disorganized and weak. Also there were no promise of not expanding on east iirc. It points fair things like Hunter Biden case and the US intervention into Ukrainian elections etc. , but they are not so important, when considering why is war still going on. So I wonder if this video is shitty at facts, what if some others are as well?

I'm commenting because I'm also interested in this. I do (fortunately or unfortunately, depending on your perspective) agree with a lot the two say, find them pretty likeable and to me it did seem like they were interested in presenting a mostly neutral/open view on any issues. But I also acknowledge that they're allowed to have complex opinions and that those might sometimes clash with mine. And they're also not infallible and never claimed to be, so it could also be a lack of research on a particular topic.

I think in the worst case, it'll be similar to how I view Hassan Piker (spelling?) / the Chinese government: Even if I disagree on very important issues, I might still have some ideas in common. People are complex and stuff.

Their documentaries and commentaries are really good and fair. But this video made me curious if they could've lied somewhere else. Also Hassan is financed by Chinese CCP, thus he is not allowed to even know what Taiwan is, and not allowed to criticize China.
