In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.

Some Rules

Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
Don't promote proprietary software
Try to keep things on topic
If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

my family has meta quests

they like supernatural and an app the puts images on walls i dont know the apps name

do you have recommendations for vr headsets that are private but convient for normal people?

All VR is expensive still. Meta quest only goes as low as 650 USD because they subsidize it by spying on you so much.

The Quest 3s is $350 USD.

I must admit I forgot about the 3S. The same idea still applies, though. It's only affordable because of the spying. Plus it's got a lower resolution and fresnel lenses like the Quest 2, but that's probably not as big an issue as people make it out to be.

That's true, but your question is about buying another thing that's more privacy-respecting than the thing you already have, so I'm not sure what your point is.
