How long before he tries the same with Washington/Lincoln?
Hasn't he mentioned something about the Lincoln Memorial? His ramblings are all over the place, but the fact that people around him follow the orders as if they make sense makes any utterance dangerous.

As a malignant narcissist, it's totally expected that he'll try to sully the memory or reputation of anyone he perceives people like more than him. Being assassinated definitely played a role in how highly they're regarded
Meh, no one really gives a shit about McKinley or Garfield. I'd wager that a majority of Americans don't even know they were assassinated. Both Lincoln and Kennedy are famously connected to major advances in social progress, it makes sense people would hold them in higher regard than presidents that led less popularly-considered successful administrations.
