Thats because the US is not a part of the ICC and they have something called the Hague Invasion Act which basically says they will use military force to prevent Americans or US allies from being brought to trial.

I mean, it's quaint to believe the US would have held to the ICC even if it had been a member. Hardly the first time we'd have violated a treaty that we pretended to honor.

Nobody even talks about the Geneova Conventions anymore.

Isn't Canadas actions in previous wars a bit contributing factor to the creation of the Geneva Conventions?
