Lots of us care about a wide variety of things. It's usually not helpful to judge others so flippantly for what they speak out for when it's something positive.

Let's just start by recognizing that this is a fucking exhausting time to be alive if you care about other people, the environment, the climate, or anything else we should be focusing on taking care of. Every day I fall down the doom spiral of bad news. It's so dismal, and there's only so much any individual can do about the giant flaming tire fire that is the state of current affairs.

The arts have been an important part of human culture since we stopped merely surviving and started building societies. Probably before that. The Kennedy Center has been a focal point for artists standing up against Trump, and I fully support anyone involved. Fascism targets art and culture for a reason, and we need to fight them on any and all fronts we can.

I can't believe I have to defend people literally putting their bodies on the line to fight against Trump. Saturn devouring his child.
