You can’t be for and against genocide. Either you are evil or you are not.
No, but you can be against genocide and also against the oct attacks.
It's been more than a quarter of a decade since then, and in that time Israel has consistently been committing worse atrocities on a weekly basis. Trying to both-sides the genocide now by bringing up October 7th is like trying to both-sides the Holocaust by bringing up the Warsaw ghetto uprising.
Just to recap what we may have forgotten:

That a narrative. And it is a bit conspiracy brained, tbh. I totally believe that Netanyahu allowed the attack, just like Bush/Chaney allowed the Sept 11 attacks. They knew an action was imminent and wanted it as an excuse. I think neither knew of the scope. I don't buy the 'we didn't think our targets were supposed to be civilians but we killed them anyway' excuse. And you're ignoring the constant missiles being fired indiscriminately at Israel civilians. Regardless, Israel has overreacted to such an extent that is not an reaction but a separate action of malice. I believe they have lost their right to exist as a country in its current form.
Israel has consistently been killing Palestinian civilians for decades.
Israel has been attempting to ethnic cleanse Palestine for over fifty years
At some point the October attacks stopped being anything but an excuse.
I remember reading about them and thinking; "damn, the response will be BAD", and as the days turned into weeks turned into months turned into years of constant brutal systematic violence, Israel quickly lost all my sympathy they got from the attacks.
I have held no special love for the Palestinians, nor Israel for that matter, but Israel is doing it's best to make sure to show everyone just how little sympathy they deserve.
I agree 100%. I actually think that Israel has lost its right to exist in its current form. Of course one might say that about the U.S. also.
I don't know if I would go that far, though, to be honest, we have tried a two state solution for several decades, without any real success, what about a single state solution?
Eh, doubt it would make much of a difference to be honest....
I don't know, seems kinda pointless to keep fighting over some sand, yeah yeah, I know it is about for more than that, but to an outsider that is kinda what it seems like
