I'm German, apples in pancakes are obvious. Just haven't had any syrup of any kind on them. Guess I'm the weird one out then.
Idk maybe it's a regional thing or just my family that always had maple syrup in the fridge
Southern german here. I have never seen pancakes with syrup either. But around here you are not even getting pancakes anywhere anyway. It's always CrΓͺpes or Kaiserschmarrn instead.
