Glad to see the US is at least consistent in abandoning its own principles and treaties. /s
We're almost up to 6 years of practice on the consistent inconsistency.... how do you know they're lying? Well, you don't, because about 5% of what they say turns out to be true-ish sooner or later and it's all very random sounding - see, that's the genius - nobody can predict what's coming next.
The US has been saying one thing and doing another for far longer than 6 years.
Such has been the nature of diplomacy for the past many centuries.
What's different for 6 years, and especially the past 2-ish, is they have been saying all the things - true things, false things, but most out of character for the country - but not the clown: the things that "just weren't said" in the past.
I believe the translation of the Russian propaganda term is "Fire-hosing."
